Koshy Mathew, Pharm.D., M.B.A. is a Founder and Managing Partner at Blackpoll. He is a healthcare executive with 20+ years of clinical and operational experience in leading academic medical centers and private equity–backed companies.
Previously, Dr. Mathew was Vice President of Pharmacy Services and Pharmacist-in-Charge at one of the largest infusion pharmacies in the U.S. Prior, Dr. Mathew served as Director of Pharmacy for Sterile Preparations and Pediatric Pharmacy Services at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
A former Joint Commission surveyor with expertise in various areas of accreditation and best practices in healthcare, Dr. Mathew has extensive experience in working with federal, state regulations and compliance domains. Dr. Mathew is a Diplomate in the Academy of Integrative Pain Management (AIPM), and holds board certifications in Medical Affairs Specialty by Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), Sterile Compounding 503A Pharmacy Qualified Person (QP503A) by Critical IQ , and Sterile Compounding by the Board of Pharmacy Specialty (BPS).
Dr. Mathew received a PharmD. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
